Autumn in the Bighorns

I went back to a year ago to get these pictures. It was a beautiful morning and my husband and I took a little drive up the mountains to see the autumn foliage and also to see the damage from the forest fire which had been about a month before.

Here you can see the results of the fire from the deck of a friend where the fire practically came up to her house.
No forest fires this year, thankfully. Once in a blue moon is more than enough.
Hope the day has been good to you.
God bless you, Diane

Amen to that Diane. We were lucky here as well this year but even now it is still pretty dry for this time of year.

How beautiful Diane. And, how scary for your friend... eek! Glad it's been a year of few fires for you all there.
