Winterizing

We spent most of the weekend winterizing the patio. It has a roof and is mostly surrounded by trellis. Usually we put plastic film up on the inside and put laths up to hold it in place. This year we tried something new, we bought PVC iron wave which is a clear corrugated plastic sheets and installed them inside the trellis. It cuts the wind and snow and keeps some of the leaves from blowing in. We also bring wood in to burn and it will keep it nice and dry. Here's a picture of my husband working on it.
Someone once told me that they had no idea how much time we spend getting ready for winter around here until they moved to a Southern state and they didn't. That said, I wouldn't know what it was like to get ready for hurricanes either!
God bless you, Diane

That looks like a great plan Diane! Should do nicely for the winter. :c)
