Chest of drawers or as so many people used to say who came into my store - chester drawers. That always tickled me.
My husband bought this chest at a garage sale for $2.00, not a bad price considering the pulls are solid brass. He brought it home and painted it but didn't have room in his shop so he gave it to me for my art room. I'm covering the entire thing with decoupage. I'm not done yet, right now I'm working on the drawers (6). Although the pulls are quality, I'd like to find something funkier or cuter. When I get it done, I'll get a better picture of the whole thing.

Can't wait to see this project done. I did one of those old suitcases one time. Do you use the paper from old magazines or do you get papers for that. I know at one time you could get some good quality wrapping paper to use.

What a bargain your husband found on "chester"!! You'll have fun making this new to suit you -- sometimes the bigger jobs gives us the most satisfaction!
