Late Season Flowers

I've been so busy getting moved in to my studio/home office, that the late summer days have been racing by. Yesterday morning I saw where the hyacinth bean had some of the leaves touched by frost. Tomorrow if it's nice I'm just going to take some time and spend it in the garden, with the flowers, deadheading, cutting back, looking to see what kind of butterflies are out there. No hummingbirds - next year!! I got a catalog in the mail www.highcountrygardens.com and there are a couple flowers I'd like to try, agastache and liatris (the liatris looks like a hot pink instead of the lavender color) they both look like butterfly and hummingbird attractions. Any other ideas? Hope you've had a lovely day. God bless you, Diane

September always heralds the end of the season, but I am ready here. Tired and weary of the heat. :c)

September we may lose some of the colorful flowers but they will soon be replaced by the beautiful colors of Autumn. There is a little nip in the air here but with lots of sunshine. This is one of my favorite times of the year.
