Happy Autumn

Fall approaches, rapidly. The mornings and evenings are crisper. Almost overnight the trees and shrubs are showing fall colors. Leaves are already beginning to fall. A rain at night reminds you of Snoopy when he's writing, "it was a dark and stormy night." You feel it everywhere. It's the season of relinquishment, giving up of things. And yet, with the giving up we also get. We get cozy evenings tucked into the house when a fire in the wood stove feels wonderful. We get lovely jars of homemade jams and jellies lined up on the shelf like jewels, this year's honey, different colors of the woods and a satisfying crunch underfoot of the fallen leaves. Each season is so beautiful and fall is no exception. Hope you have a beautiful fall. God bless you, Diane
