After 102 degrees today the cool evening felt wonderful as I took Rascal for a little walk. The neighbors were sitting out on their porches or having supper on their patios, breathing a sigh of relief after the heat. Some of them were setting their water to give their lawns and gardens a cool drink. Life seemed good as evening settled in.
The best part is that it's supposed to be quite a bit cooler tomorrow.
