Winter in the Middle of Summer

Yesterday we headed over the Bighorn Mountains and ran into a bad storm on top. We ended up following a snowplow and grateful that he was ahead of us clearing the way. We had no idea that we would run into snow of this magnitude this time of the year. I planned to photograph wildflowers on the way across.
The reason for this excursion - Lilian Rose - 6 days old and all of 5 1/2 lbs.

Isn't she beautiful? God bless you, Diane
